Vedika Mandapati (Founder, Editor-in-Chief)
Vedika is a member of Pathways World School Aravali’s (India) class of 2021. She founded HEM in 2018, to help young Indian writers express themselves. When she’s not editing or playing the piano, you can hunt down Vedika in her room playing clarinet solos or rehearsing for orchestra . She is proud to edit for Polyphony Lit and to have been published in The Claremont Review.
Vedika Harnathka (digital director)
Vedika is a member of Oakridge International School’s class of 2021. She strongly believes in giving high schoolers a voice and for us to be able to be seen. She is interested in design, and when not buried in schoolwork, she can be found playing the piano or preoccupied by her current favourite tv show.
Anya Rohatgi (first reader)
A student at Heritage School, Anya lives and breathes words. When she doesn’t have her nose in a book, she engages in creative writing, debate and MUNs. She loves to travel, and strives to learn more about the cultural history of the world.
Unnathi Kumar (First Reader)
Unnathi is currently a sophomore at Pathways World School, Aravali. When not found perfecting every assignment, she can be found editing or re-watching her favourite TV shows indefinitely. With an incline towards both writing and science, she also works as an editor at other literary and scientific magazines, such as Polyphony Lit and the Young Scientists Journal.
